A Fall-Themed Team Night to Remember

Our most recent Synaptic, Inc. team night had an appropriately autumnal theme. We spent the evening carving pumpkins and attended a haunted house. Our firm’s President stated, “Company culture is something we really try to focus on to give each member of our team a sense of belonging. We feel we work best together when we are open and comfortable with one another. Our brand experts love thinking of new activities to build stronger bonds and we always look forward to our team nights.”

Along with group outings, we adhere to a few other fundamental concepts to maintain a supportive team culture. One of these key strategies is hiring for cultural fit. Our President noted that we look for certain skills when we evaluate potential hires, but we go a bit further by giving them tours of the Synaptic, Inc. office. This is an effective method because it gives us a chance to see candidates interact with our current team members and get a feel for how they would fit in.

We also make our guiding values, such as transparency, constant improvement, and innovation, as clear as possible for current and future team members. During interviews, we shape questions around these principles so we can identify the right people to come aboard.
